Refer a Hire, Get Paid and Enjoy It!

Do you know someone who would be a great Carilion employee? With our Referral Rewards program, you could earn a bonus when we hire someone you refer. A few of the many roles that are eligible for referral rewards are:

• Physicians
• Inpatient RNs
• Respiratory care practitioners
• Pharmacy technicians
• Imaging technicians
• Cooks
• Police/security
• Nursing assistants
• Paramedics/EMTs
• Materials Management specialists
• Technology Services Group engineers

The Referral Rewards hub has a list of positions that are currently eligible for Referral Rewards and the amount associated with each role. We update this list on a regular basis.

Managers and supervisors are also eligible for the program if they refer someone for a job outside their own departments.     

How the Program Works

1. You refer an external applicant for a Referral Rewards-designated position. Visit the Referral Rewards hub to learn how. 
    
2. The applicant identifies you as the person who referred them to the HR recruiter they work with.
     
3. You will receive a bonus if the applicant is hired for that position. Bonus amounts are based on the role—see the chart below.
    
4. Bonuses are paid in full after the person you refer has worked in the role for 90 days. Payment for a physician referral is on a different pay schedule.
