Our Hospitals Earn High Grades for Patient Safety

Twice a year, Leapfrog publishes quality scorecards for hospitals across the country. The latest ratings are in!

CFMH and CNRV have once again earned an A, and CRMH earned a B. As the region’s only level 1 trauma center that treats the most complex patient cases and cares for the sickest of the sick, this is a major accomplishment.

Leapfrog assigns an A, B, C, D or F grade to hospitals across the country based on over 30 performance measures reflecting errors, accidents, injuries and infections, and the systems hospitals have in place to prevent them. Some hospitals, like our other community hospitals, are not included in the ratings because of their size.

The latest ratings are just one tool of many that patients can consider when making healthcare decisions such as choosing a hospital. 

Achieving these top Hospital Safety Grades are significant accomplishments that represent an immense commitment and dedication to giving patients access to safe, quality care.

The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade is peer-reviewed, fully transparent and free to the public. Grades are updated twice annually, in the fall and spring. It is one of many ratings we pay attention to in our quest for exceptional quality and patient safety.
