Notice of Upcoming Parking and Traffic Changes at Riverside
Update as of Feb. 4: The start date for these changes will be later. We will provide an update when the new timeline is available.
Beginning in late February, the Riverside surface parking lot next to 3 Riverside Drive in Roanoke will close so we can build the future Carilion Taubman Cancer Center.
The current vehicle entrance from Reserve Avenue to Riverside Drive will close until construction is complete. We will have an alternate entrance with detour and directional signs. The entrance from Jefferson Street SW will remain open. We are developing flyers for practices to distribute. The flyers will be available in the Document Center.
Parking is available in the Riverside parking garage.
Shuttle Information
Shuttles (golf carts and a van) are available for patients, guests and employees between the Riverside garage and 1 or 3 Riverside Circle.
- Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- Pickup available on the ground level at the elevator or benches on either side of the garage.
- If you have waited for 10 or more minutes, call Guest Services at 540-526-1144 for pickup.
