New Food Pantry Opens in Radiation Oncology Clinic

Proper nutrition is essential during cancer treatment, and improving access to the healthy foods that support healing benefits cancer patients—and supports our mission.

In partnership with Feeding America Southwest Virginia and Blue Ridge Cancer Care, we have taken steps to improve that access by opening the region's first clinic-based food pantry in our Radiation Oncology clinic.

The pantry is quickly becoming a resource for our patients: In the first 10 days of opening, it had already served 16 patients.
