When your child is sick, you don't have to wait until the next business day for care. Carilion Pediatric Medicine offers extended evening and weekend hours at our Tanglewood location for established pediatric primary care patients.

Extended Hours

• Monday–Friday: 5–8 p.m.
• Saturday–Sunday: 8 a.m.–Noon

Scheduling an Appointment

To schedule an appointment, call 540-769-0976. Please have the following information available when you call:

• Your child's age
• Symptoms
• Temperature
• Current medications
• Regular pediatrician's name

After-Hours Support

If your child needs care after hours and you're unsure what to do, Carilion Pediatric Medicine's care team is still available. Call the Carilion Clinic switchboard at 540-981-7000, tell the operator your child is a Carilion Pediatric Medicine patient and ask to be connected with the on-call nurse or physician.
