McClanahan Garage Patient Parking and Repairs Update

UPDATE, Wednesday, Feb. 25: The McClanahan Ave. entrance/exit to the McClanan Garage will be blocked for repairs starting late morning on Tuesday, Feb. 24, through the end of the day on Thursday, Feb. 26. During this period, all vehicles must use the Crystal Spring Ave entrance/exit. 

You may have noticed that we recently made changes to parking in the McClanahan Garage to better support patient access.

Starting Monday, Feb. 23, Levels 2 and 3 of the McClanahan Garage will be designated and monitored as patient-only parking to ensure patients attending appointments in nearby facilities have convenient and safe parking. Many patients visiting nearby facilities have mobility challenges, and this change helps ensure they can reach their destinations safely.

In addition to reserving parking for patients, we have increased shuttle services from all CMC garages to improve access.

We recognize that current road closures have resulted in staff filling the Riverwalk and McClanahan garages more quickly, while our largest garage —Terrace View—often has available capacity. If you’re able, please consider allowing a few extra minutes to park in the Terrace View Garage (entering from Hamilton Terrace; see the downloadable detour map below).

We understand that parking can be challenging, and we truly appreciate your flexibility and consideration as we work to best serve our patients.
