Recently, we have received reports of fake job postings appearing on public job boards. In some cases, scammers have also contacted applicants directly, using the names of real Carilion employees to appear legitimate. 

While these scams may be easier to spot for those familiar with Carilion or our hiring practices, it is important to stay aware and share this information with friends or family members who may be exploring job opportunities.

• Skipping steps like professional references or formal verification 

What to Keep in Mind

Carilion’s hiring process does not require applicants to send money, deposit funds, or use cryptocurrency at any point. Job offers will not depend on financial transactions from the applicant.
