How We Are Preparing To Use AI Tools
Development and use of Artificial Intelligence is moving at a rapid pace. We want to provide you with an update on our objectives and strategy to govern and deploy AI tools to assist our physicians, APPs, and staff. As a preface these innovative and exciting opportunities represent incredible potential value to our communities and the patients, we serve but are a significant investment and not without risks. To ensure strategic alignment and appropriate risk assessment we are asking that all AI solution requests be sent to your existing BRDs. We will be integrating appropriate AI assessment toolkits into our existing workflows. The AI Steering Committee will review all requests and provide input. Below is an outline of our approach and objectives for the deployment of AI with Carilion Clinic.
