Dick & Dave’s Miracle Day Radiothon Benefits Carilion Children’s
This Friday, March 1, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., local radio station Q99 will host the annual Dick & Dave’s Miracle Day fundraiser, where listeners will hear stories about children and their families who were treated at Carilion and raise funds for Children’s Miracle Network of Southwest Virginia (CMN).
All the money raised throughout the event will support Carilion Children’s through CMN. The fundraiser provides critical medical equipment, services and toys for children in inpatient and outpatient units.
“Q99 listeners’ incredible generosity warms my heart," said Macy Ware, CMN's program director. "We profoundly appreciate the opportunity to continue this meaningful work that provides invaluable support for the children we serve.”
Last year, the radiothon raised $103,022. Over the past 20 years, Miracle Day has raised more than $2.6 million for children in our region.
