What is Microneedling?

Microneedling is a cosmetic procedure using fine needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin. This triggers the body's natural healing process to boost collagen and elastin production for firmer, smoother skin.

What should I expect during my appointment?

Prior to the procedure, numbing cream is applied. Then the aesthetician uses a hand-held device with fine needles to make superficial injuries into the surface of the skin.  During the procedure you may feel tingling and vibration. After the procedure, you can expect temporary redness, swelling—almost a sunburned feeling. These side effects resolve quickly over 1-3 days. This procedure is safe for all skin types.
