CNRV Solar Field Energy Production Update
Our solar panel field at CNRV supplies 17% of the hospital’s annual electrical requirements, resulting in a projected savings of $1.5 million in energy costs over the next 20 years.
In addition to generating clean energy, it also generates revenue; for every megawatt-hour that the solar panels produce, one Solar Renewable Energy Credit is generated, then sold to utility companies.
The solar field has generated 9,538,097 kilowatt hours of clean energy since it was installed in 2018. Learn what that is equivalent to in avoided greenhouse gas and carbon dioxide emissions in the infographic below.
