3 Tips to Complete Your Inservices on Time

The deadline to complete the flu vaccine questionnaire and your 2024 inservices is almost here! They must be completed by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, March 31.

Although the deadline is quickly approaching, you can still easily complete everything on time. Just use these tips!

1. Get Started

You don't have to complete the flu vaccine questionnaire and your inservices in one sitting, but you do have to finish them.

Start by completing one course! You'll be amazed at how much better you will feel and you'll be motivated to mark the next one off your list.

Schedule 30 minutes a day to work on your inservices and you will be done in the next week—still ahead of the deadline!

2. Change Your Mindset

Our organization encourages a culture of learning. Think of your required inservices as another opportunity to learn something new instead of this hurdle you have to jump.

If you’re a seasoned employee and have completed your inservices for several years, challenge yourself to take away one tidbit you didn’t know before.

Seasoned employees also have the option to test out of your inservices by completing a learning assessment. This can reduce the amount of time you need to finish your required inservice topics and programs.

3. Don't Forget These Reminders

• The deadline to complete your flu survey and inservices falls on a Sunday. If they aren't completed on Sunday, it doesn't mean you can finish them Monday morning. They still must be completed by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, March 31 or you may receive a type I disciplinary action with a progressive disciplinary action if additional deadlines are missed. 
• New employees do not have the option of testing out of inservices. If you are taking them for the first time, they may take a little longer to finish than your coworkers who have completed inservices many times.
• Non-exempt (hourly) employees must have manager approval to work on inservices outside their normal working hours. Be sure to get approval ahead of time if you are planning to squeeze in your inservices on your day off.
