You will receive regular pay and benefits if you are called to jury duty.

Let your manager know as soon as you have been called to jury duty. You will not be required to use your PTO as a result of your absence from work to serve jury duty.

Employees compensated for serving on jury duty during scheduled work time are to reimburse Carilion Clinic for any duplicate pay received from the courts for jury service. The employee may cash or deposit the reimbursement check received from the court. The employee may then submit a personal check, cashier's check, or money order for the duplicate pay. The check or money order should be made payable to Carilion Services Inc. Payments are to be given to the employee’s manager who will forward to Payroll.
